Takashi Murakami at Versailles
I visited Paris last month, during my time there I made a trip to the Palace of Versailles to see the last day of the Takashi Murakami Exhibit. The Japanese artist had filled 15 rooms at the palace with his work. The sculptures themselves were pretty amazing and the setting was a great contrast to the quirky pop art. It's fair enough to say I really enjoyed this retrospective and found it very inspiring. Murakami's characters are cute, quirky, bright and a little bit naughty. Murakami I am now a big fan of your work!
