'spread your love' by Hamed Kohan
I stumble across this article this morning on the design boom website about these amazing tyres with hearts on designed by Hamed Kohan for the 'seoul cycle design' competition. I want them, I hope they manufacture these. My tyres are looking a bit crusty anyway.
'spread your love' by hamed kohan from Iran is one of the shortlisted design entries from more than 3000 participants in our recent designboom competition,'seoul cycle design 2010', organized in collaboration with seoul design foundation.
The tire design features heart-shaped knobs that create playful tracks on the streets.A series of corresponding bike racks are distributed throughout the city.

Raggy Dolls
Here are the pics of the beautiful dolls Cherry made for me, I have given them a home on my wicker Peacock chair. All the little details on them are great, the small zips and the sun glasses are so cute, the stripe doll's top was drawn by hand with fabric pens, Amazin! You can really tell Cherry put a lot of effort into them.

Daily Drop Cap
You may have been reading my blog regularly and perhaps noticed some beautiful Capital letters adorning the front of my paragraphs. Unfortunately I didn't craft these myself, they are by the wonderfully talented Jessica Hische, who has created a blog called Daily Drop Cap, each day she publishes a new hand crafted decorative Capital letter for anyone out there to use in there blogs. I love the idea and intend to use them in the near future. Check out the blog here: Daily Drop Cap

Faile @ Lazarides Gallery
popped into the Lazarides Gallery in Soho at lunch today to see the Faile exhibition that has just started. I was very impressed, above are some dodgy pics from my iphone, I'm hoping to pop into the other Lazarides galley to see the rest of their work.
